Recap of IFRI LLC BIPOC Business Expo

On Saturday, June 10, we participated in the 2nd annual IFRI LLC BIPOC Business Expo. This was our first in-person post-pandemic event, and we enjoyed sharing our story and showcasing our work.

First, a heartfelt thanks to our board--Adam Pederson, Nathaniel Browne, Paul Ostrow, Eurel Nwachi, Philip Kaleewoun, and Carla Woodson for all their work in making our return to the public sphere successful!

Next, another heartfelt thanks to Tashie George, Founder & CEO of IFRI LLC, for inviting UDS to participate. Tashie is a long-time supporter and partner.

Last but not least, we had an opportunity to connect and network with other participants and attendees. We have already started reaching out to some that what to volunteer with us and others that might have a service for events and marketing that would be beneficial. Also, we connected with a local radio station to share our story with a larger audience.

We decided to limit unnecessary paper waste by allowing people to access our donation and event pages and website via QR codes. As you can see, our new brand--logo, colors, font--is on full display.
