UDS Liberia Holds 10th Anniversary Parade & Celebration on June 3, 2023

We had an exciting day for UDS Liberia on June 3, 2023. The staff and students celebrated their 10th Anniversary by hitting the streets with a parade. The day started with heavy rain, but it began to cease once they started to march. This first video shows our academic and vocational training students. Our media person, Mohammed Gbettu, filmed and narrated the video.

In this second video, the parade had to stop for President Weah’s motorcade because we extended our route to go along Tubman Blvd. Also, the parade was scheduled for two hours but stretched to seven. The onlookers enjoyed their marching and performing and wanted more.

Our students started their parade by our training center behind them on the right. They wore various uniforms.

We achieved two milestones in 2023. Our academic school is five years old, and UDS as an NGO is 10 years old. Both banners were on full display for the parade today.

Our parade was streamed live on DN News Liberia TV Facebook Page. Click here to watch: https://fb.watch/kXuHRlrQLY/
