Thank you, Florkime, for a successful Birthday Fundraiser!

At the start of each month, we post a reminder about holding a Birthday Fundraiser for Uniting Distant Stars. These peer-to-peer fundraisers introduce our small organization to a larger audience. Last year, five people hosted a Facebook Birthday Fundraiser, raising $1.546.32.

In 2024, Florkime Paye was the first to host a birthday fundraiser and raised $430 from nine people (an average of $48). She promoted it on social media and gave them three choices to donate--Cash App, Facebook, and website. We received funds from all three options.
